Historically, many experiences by the founders of JUST LIFE, INC. have been, among other things: transitioning persons from institutions to community environments, and from school to community, direct development, start-up and management of residential programs; development and supervision of traditional day programs; training programs; direct behavioral and program consultation services to individuals, families, and service providers. Direct services have also been provided to school districts through program development, development and implementation of alternative schooling, teacher consultation and training, and individual services to students. Consultation and work has also been completed with local, state, and other governmental agencies within the field of Developmental Disabilities. Further, successful intervention and service delivery in relation to Advocacy and Justice Department Litigation has been demonstrated. Most noteworthy, however, are the many successes where persons with particularly difficult challenges have been assisted to live more independently and with successes in their lives.
